Our Staff
Tyler Lynch, PC has a diverse staff comprised of CPA's and Senior level accountants with a dynamic set of skills, education and experience. Our staff is multilingual including proficiency in English, Italian, Mandarin(Chinese), Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
Our staff specializes in corporate and individual audits, estate taxes & trusts, financial statements including audits, reviews and compilations, non profit organizations as well as business counseling and project simulations.
This experience helps us service a wide variety of clients in many different industries ranging from education, finance, health care, manufacturing as well as the service sector.
John A. Tyler, CPA
Founder, President
John is the founder and president. Since becoming a CPA in 1969, he has earned a distinguished reputation for providing tax, financial, IT and strategic planning counsel to owner-managed businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals.
John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs. He is a past chairman of the Massachusetts Society of CPA's Microcomputer Committee.
Additionally, John has published many articles on the use of computers in accounting for a number of prominent business and technical publications.
John received a degree in Economics from Yale University and an Accounting degree from Bentley College.
Michael H. Lynch, CPA
Partner
Mike is a partner and vice president of the Tyler Lynch, PC tax practice. Mike has significant expertise on tax consulting for family groups and closely held businesses including partnerships, S corporations, C corporations and Limited Liability Companies.
He has consulted with clients regarding the tax consequences of business reorganizations, acquisitions and liquidations.
Mike also has significant experience with trust and estate taxation and related tax planning issues and representation of clients before tax regulatory authorities.
He is a graduate of Bentley College and is a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council.
Sarah A. Liberman, CPA
Senior Accountant
Sarah is a versatile CPA involved with audits, tax returns and tax consulting. A graduate of the University of Connecticut, Sarah has been an active CPA since 1981.
Sarah is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs.
John P. Granahan, CPA
Senior Tax Accountant
John Granahan, CPA, has significant experience in serving corporate, non-profit, trusts and individual clients with accounting and tax expertise. John has also held senior management positions in privately held companies, start-ups and Fortune 500 companies.
John received his B.S. Accounting and M.S. Taxation from Bentley College and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs.
Stephen DeAngelis
Supervisor
Stephen has been with Tyler Lynch, PC since 1989. He majored in Accounting at Salem State College and has extensive experience in individual, partnership, corporate tax returns and nonprofit. He is very knowledgeable in tax planning and establishing tax strategy.
Stephen is well versed in financial and audit compliance as well as an expert in several Intuit products - Quickbooks, Quicken, Peachtree as well as CCH Profx software. His experience also includes corporate payroll.
Kenneth Maxwell
Supervisor
Ken has been a member of our staff since 1993. He has more than twenty years of experience working with Subchapter C and S corporations, general and limited partnerships, limited liability companies, individuals, not-for-profit, trusts and estates, including consolidated and multistate tax returns.
His experience also includes supervising, and reviewing annual audits, reviews, and compilations for a wide range of businesses including manufacturing and real estate companies.
Vivian Hu, CPA
Supervisor
Vivian graduated from Bentley University in 2010 with a Master's Degree in Accounting. Vivian began her experience with Tyler Lynch as an intern in 2010 and has continued as a full time staff member since that time. Her experience includes preparation of tax returns for individuals, businesses, trusts and non-profit entities together with accounting and auditing services. She shares the Tyler Lynch PC goals of being responsive and proactive to client needs and providing timely and quality service. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
